the Immortal Memory.

WELL DONE THE QUEENS !!
The famous statue of Robert Burns in Dumfries was adorned with the Queen of the South scarf in May, when the football team
fropm the tonw visited Hampden Parjk for the second time in a month to play Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final. (May 24th) Unfortunately, we were just narrowly defeated 3-2 but what a great occasion. Our own doonhamers, Harry and Graham Hutchison travelled up for both
the semi final and the final and such is the feeling for the town from ex patriots, that folk travelled from as far awa' as Australia
to see the Final.
Back in Dumfries, Harry was warmly greeted at the Howf - Globe Inn - where a few medicinal malts were administered
to try to remedy the disappointment !
